I’m struggling a bit in the happy department this week thanks to either a bug or medication withdrawals, or both. I am aching so much, all over, but especially in my neck, shoulders & back. However, all the more reason to share my happy list with you; positive mental attitude!
So this week I got some new boots, fashion ones for going out in, which I love. Mum and I went to Fougères to do the Lidl shop and wound up in Gémo on a boot hunt. It’s so hard to find boots in my size (UK 8/EU 42) here, most stop at an EU 41, however our search was successful! Hooray!
Naturally, while in town, we went on a Pokehunt! Mum was out of Pokeballs so we had to hit up as many Pokestops as possible for her. I was glad of the time out of the house doing something, I’ve been feeling so run down that I haven’t wanted to go out, but at the same time it’s so boring being home and resting up!
Fougères is a beautiful old city, I really like it. It is home to, what I believe to be, the largest fortress in Europe. We didn’t actually go into the chateau itself this time, we’ve visited many times already, but we did wander the public gardens and add to a gym in Pokemon Go!
The cat has been really snuggly and friendly lately. He’s staying in all day, snoozing on the sofas, and loves a fuss now too. I’m so glad he’s less aggressive than he was, I feel much more relaxed around him and can actually enjoy his company now too.
