This weight loss week has been an odd one; I did a lot of walking and was mostly exhausted so only used the exercise bike twice this week. I aim for 3 times, but am refusing to beat myself up for it because I’ve done the extra walking.
This coming week I’m aiming to hit my 3 days on the exercise bike goal. I’m walking the dogs less because Step-dad is back from his UK trip to walk them in the mornings, so I’m just doing the evening walks again. I am hoping that now the weather is a bit cooler to start going on one longer walk a week, be that a long dog walk with the parents or just an hour or so on my own around the local area, no doubt armed with Pokemon Go!
I’ve decided I’m going to put down the wine glass too. Well, the wine, vodka, Malibu & Bailey’s glasses! I noticed I was drinking more regularly and, as I’ve mentioned before, it’s something that worries me. So, for my overall health I’m limiting myself to just on special occasions, that should help my weight loss too.
Weight Loss successes:
- Lots of walking, hit step goal most days last week.
- Used exercise bike twice.
- Eaten much less chocolate, fewer puddings, etc.
- Recognising my full signals more regularly.
- More water, fewer lattes.
I’m not going to up my step goal yet, despite hitting it regularly this week. I’m well aware that the past two weeks have been odd ones with one or the other parent being away. Normal weeks here don’t include as many Pokehunts or as much going out in general!
I do find it harder to motivate myself to go on long walks alone, but it’s definitely something I need to work on. I’ve managed to motivate myself to use the exercise bike, so more walking is next!
