Tarot – my word of the week

As is usual when I want to take part in word of the week, I took a peek through my photos that I’ve snapped over the past 7 days, and this week my word had to be tarot.

To be honest, most weeks my word could be tarot, but this week, and the past few weeks, I’ve been absorbed in it more than usual. I watch deck openings & reviews on YouTube, I follow and read blogs on the topic, I am absorbing as much information as possible on my favourite interests.

This month I’ve also been sort of taking part in theĀ #WithinWithoutAdvice challenge on Instagram which I’ve been loving. Though I started it late & haven’t been consistent with it (thank you illness!) I’ve found the readings I’ve got from it so powerful. It’s definitely a ‘go deep or go home’ type spread and I’ve been using my Shadowscapes deck for within & without, and then my Crazy Sexy Love Notes for the advice.

I’m not going to go too in depth about my readings, at least not yet, as they’ve definitely pushed me in a certain direction with something, something I wanted but wasn’t sure was possible.

I’ve also done a few readings this week for friends, belated ones that I had planned to do just as I got sick with the cold from hell! But I finally got round to them and am hoping they help them gain some guidance.

For me, tarot isn’t about seeing the future in detail, but it’s a fabulous tool for self-exploration and understanding situations from different angles. It’s not for everyone but I find it truly enlightening and helpful.

Have you ever had a tarot reading? Or are you not a fan?

Glad that you’re taking so much from it, I had no idea there were YouTube reviews and IG tags, though of course, there are for everything now, aren’t there?! Yes, I have had readings, some accurate, some not so much and I have got my own deck somewhere, though as you can probably tell from the ‘somewhere’ it’s not something I’ve thought about for quite some time. Great that you’re getting some clear direction from yours x Thanks for sharing with #WotW

It sounds like you are really into Tarot and you sound so happy when you talk about it.
I really don’t know anything about Tarot and the cards but it all sounds so interesting…
