This week, on Thursday, after much umming and ahhing and then convincing my parents it would help my weight loss, I finally got a Fitbit! It’s an early birthday present. I went for the Charge HR in teal and so far am really loving it. I don’t do a lot of walking, or exercise in general, at all but am hoping that seeing that fact and seeing my friends doing so well will motivate me to get off my ass!
I do walk the dogs at least once a day, but it’s not a really long walk, I’m hoping to slowly go further and further with them and maybe take them more often too.
I mentioned in last week’s post that I was overeating again because of a minor depressive episode, fortunately that episode passed quickly and I’ve been feeling better this week. I have been slowly taking control of my eating again and have seen a 1lb loss this week, so that’s the pound I put on last week gone, yay!
Food wise, aside from a mocha and a doughnut from Dunkin’ Coffee (are they different to Dunkin’ Donuts?) and the odd biscuit, I’ve done rather well this week I think. I must have done relatively well given that I lost, so go me!
So this coming week I’m hoping to do a bit more walking, continue getting my yoga on at least once a week and manage my eating better. Hopefully now the depression has eased again that will be easier.
