Share the Joy: January Joys

The first moment of joy that I want to share this week is my anxiety-kicking trip to a new dog agility training session. It was difficult for me to go, make first contact with the trainer, and take part, but I did it all and I am still proud of myself. Saturday will be our second session and I’m hoping it goes as well as the first!

Secondly, I wanted to just share a beautiful day with you. Mum sat on the terrace in the sunshine enjoying her good book, happy dogs, happy step-dad, happy me. It was also yet another day when I was incredibly grateful for clever and helpful friends who have been trying to sort my Wi-Fi issues out for me.

Yes…my Wi-Fi issues continue to plague me, but it is very, very slowly improving, so fingers crossed by the time we leave it’ll be working with no problems…!

And today has been about shopping and bonding. My Step-Dad, who’s birthday I wrote about for The Prompt, and I headed to a local mall for a little retail therapy today. He bought himself some trousers, a shirt and some other bits and bobs. I picked up some tumbled stones, a yoga mat (so now I have to get back into yoga) and a jumper, along with a few little sweet treats! It was nice to spend some time with him like that, and we had a chat over lunch too. I really enjoyed myself.

Other joyful events this week include seeing a corona around the sun and watching a sunrise. What’s brought you joy this week?

Those stones are beautiful! The dog agility session sounds good too – I always wind myself up into knots before going somewhere new, but it’s usually worth it in the end! 🙂 #happydays
