Weight loss: Week 26

Well Christmas week has come and gone. I have eaten myself stupid; piled my plate high, munched nuts, chocolates and other goodies while slurping too much alcohol. Weight loss has not been at the forefront of my mind while I enjoyed the festive foods, and as a result I was nervous to get on the scales today. I felt pretty pants to see a 2lb gain on my scales, but it’s to be expected after my eating and drinking marathon this week.

We did all go for a nice boxing day walk though, so I have got in a little exercise, but dog agility training is finished now until April for me, so my usual twice weekly running about is no longer. I’m going to have to focus more on my food intake because of the lack of exercise happening now, that will be hard, especially as I’ve let go so much over Christmas.

I’m trying not to be too hard on myself until the New Year, then I can start afresh and focus on dropping those pounds that I’ve gained this month…hopefully!

    I’m avoiding the scales right now, lots of food and drink being consumed here, I have however started exercising again to try and counteract all I’m putting in my body right now. I am definitely getting back on that healthy eating wagon in the new year! #memyselfandI

    There was no hope for me this Christmas when it came to food! but I have been trying to workout to accommodate (I made the mistake of committing myself to a 12 day fitness series! ). Enjoy the holidays and then kickstart again in january 🙂 maybe you could fit some running in outside of dog agility? (I am an avid runner :P) #MeMyselfandI

    I haven’t stepped on my weighing scales for quite a while! I have stopped running while it is dark and wet outside, for safety reasons mainly (and i don’t want to get soaked running either!) I am going to start getting up before everyone else in the mornings and use my still wrapped Pilates DVD to kick start my body into gentle exercising. Thank you for linking up to #memyselfandi.
