You wont believe this, I don’t think I do, but I had a 4lb weight loss this week! I was absolutely expecting a gain after yesterday’s pig out session of burger and chips, followed by my obligatory café gourmand! I then came home and stuffed myself with cheese and crackers for dinner!
On Thursday I had a meal out too; turkey steak in a creamy mushroom sauce, followed by a sticky toffee pudding. I had a drinking session, vodka and zero coke, last week too.
I have, however, been walking the dogs twice a day as Step-Dad has been away for 6 days, so rather than my once a day stroll I’ve been wandering down our lane twice each day. I didn’t think it’d make that much difference, but it must have! I’ve also, exercise wise, had dog agility twice, but that’s normal so no extra exercise there.
This week’s loss has really spurred me on after several weeks maintaining, I’m absolutely thrilled, obviously! I didn’t do my usual hop on and off and back on the scales either! I think I was in shock! Also, I’m still weighing in using two scales and both showed a 4lb loss, so I figure it must be right!
So go me! Now I just have to keep up the losses on the way towards the festive season so that I can relax a bit and enjoy the food without a few little gains being a massive problem.
Clothes wise, I’m stuck at that annoying in-between stage; my large size trousers are too big now and falling down, but I don’t have any medium sized clothes because I put on the weight so fast! My small clothes are too small, and will be for a while yet, so I’m a bit stuck! I think it’ll be back to leggings and dresses or skirts, even though it’s getting chilly!
