I am in a bit of a pickle this week. My parents kindly bought me some new scales, digital ones, which are much easier to read than my old, analogue ones, however they weigh me nearly half a stone heavier than I am on my old scales. Naturally that fact has put a bit of a downer on my weight loss this week and had me rethink the layout of my weekly weight loss posts.
So, rather than share with you my current weight each week, because I’m not prepared to weigh in half a stone more than I was last week after all this work, I’m just going to share my loss/gain, that way I can use my new scales. In my black book of weight loss though, I think I’ll monitor my weight on both scales for a while longer.
So, this week, although I was trying harder than last week, I still caved to some (small) pieces of cake and a bit of chocolate. However, my step-dad and I went for a nice walk in the woods on Sunday so maybe that burned off a few of the extra calories! Which means this week I saw a 2lb loss on the scales!
Yay me! Now to focus on this week and try to get my cake munching under control! It seems that, if we have cake in, I will eat it, something I need to work on. I may have kicked that chocolate habit, but I’m struggling a little with alcohol & other goodies.
