Liebster Award

Thank you to Sheri over at Broken Fingernails who has kindly nominated me for the Liebster Award. The ‘rules’ of the award are as follows:

liebster2Make a post thanking and linking the blogger who nominated you and include the Liebster Award sticker in the post.
Nominate 5-10 other bloggers and notify them of this in one of their posts. All nominated bloggers are to have less than 200 followers.
Answer the 11 questions posed by your nominator and create 11 different questions for your nominees to answer. Or, you can repeat the same questions.
Copy these rules into your post.

On to the questions!

Bread – whole grain, white, gluten-free? All of the above! I just love bread in general! Mmmm, carbs!
What is your most difficult subject to write about? I don’t really find any subject difficult to write about, provided I have the mojo, when I’m struggling to write I find any topic difficult to write about.
Conversely, what is your favorite subject to write about? I love to write about my journey with mental illness, especially the positives of it, the times where I beat it back or fight on really hard.
Snacks – sweet or savory? Sweet, although I love savoury too!
How do you get out of bed in the morning when you don’t feel like doing so? Honestly I wish I knew the answer to this question. There are days, fewer now thankfully, where I lie in bed for an hour or more willing myself to get up, wishing I actually wanted to get out of bed. I always get up, maybe that’s what gets me out of bed, the knowledge that I always get up, I have to get up and start the fight again.
How have your life challenges changed you-are you stronger, bitter, a cynic, disillusioned, happier, etc? I’m definitely stronger than I was in general, sure I have times where I’m over sensitive but in general I am a strong person now. I like to think I’m not a cynic, but sometimes I do feel very cynical, and certainly disillusioned, but I try to fight that feeling and stay positive, keep hopeful.
Weather – 4 seasons or mild all year round? I do love the seasons, but I also struggle with the cold so I’d like it to be warm all year round!
Reading – fiction or non-fiction, e-books or actual books (or “Who has time to read?”)? Fiction all the way, and preferably real books but I’ll happily read an e-book too. Having said that, I haven’t read a book in years sadly, I used to be able to blame my meds but now it’s just that I can’t seem to get back into the habit of reading…
Family – genetic or choose-your-own? Choose your own.
Social Media – fun or necessary evil? A bit of both. I adore social media but sometimes it gives me the rage!
Obligatory Kindergarten question – what’s your favorite color? Pink!

I do not have the brain power to think up 11 questions so I’m going to let you answer the ones I just answered if you want to take part.

I wont nominate people, but if you want to do it, shoot me a link and I’ll pop the link to your post here.
