This week we’ve had guests staying so I was fully expecting a gain. I’ve been munching puddings again, a treat for when we have guests as puds are rare when it’s just me and my parents. I did get saved from myself on Wednesday when we went out for lunch and I ordered a café gourmand despite being full from a large steak & chips, fortunately they were all out of mini puds to make up the café gourmand with so I didn’t have anything, phew!
There hasn’t been much exercise this week again, just the one dog agility session, other than that not much going on exercise wise.
Anyway, to the scales. As I said, I was expecting a gain, but the scales showed another 2lb loss! And that means…drum roll please…
I’ve lost my first stone!
Current weight: 15stone 8lbs
The only thing I’m disappointed about is that I am too exhausted to feel really thrilled and motivated by that fact! Hopefully when it sinks in and I’ve had some time to rest and recuperate from the guests my achievement will hit me!
So now we seem to be on the countdown to the C word, everyone is focusing on what they want to weigh/fit into by Christmas, and I feel like, now I’ve done 13 weeks of better eating, I’m in a place to look forward and set some more goals too.
I’d like to be 14stone something or 15stone dead by Christmas, actually if I’m honest I’d like to be that before because of the events that I’ll be going to in the run up…but let’s not confuse things! I want to be able to look back at this year’s seasonal photos and not cringe at my size and how awful I look. That’s a pretty vague goal though, I would like to set a “I want to fit into this item of clothing’ goal but I don’t have anything to aim for, not that I can think of anyway because all my smaller size clothes are in the loft! I think it would put too much pressure on to get them out though, they’re mostly sizes 12 to 14 and I’m still an 18 at the moment, I don’t want to put the kibosh on my weight loss when I’m doing so well!
So that’s my festive goal; lose at least 8lbs. It seems like an epic feat right now, but hopefully I can do it!
