It’s the halfway point! I’m really proud that I’ve made it this far, when I first started my heart wasn’t really in it, I didn’t think I was ready for a weight loss journey, but turns out I am, and I can do it, bit by bit I am doing it!
I have a confession though: I bought (and ate) a 3 pack of cookies…not in one sitting I might add! But still! They were delicious and so worth it though!
This week has been a bit crazy and stressful so I was expecting a gain when getting on the scales, instead I maintained last weeks weight. No loss, but no gain, so not as bad as it could have been. I was quietly, really hoping that I would be down to 16 stone this week though so I will admit to feeling a little disappointed, but still, maintaining is harder than gaining so I must be doing something rightish!
Along with those cookies I mentioned above, I had banana and syrup with some ice cream last night for pudding, we’ve had pasta, chips, in fact overall food wise it’s not been the best week. It seems that the little extra exercise I did has balanced it out though.
Current weight: 16stone 2lbs.
Monday – 20mins of yoga, snacked on a banana.
Tuesday – Stopped having any sugar in coffee.
Wednesday – Exercise at dog agility, no snacks, no chocolate.
Thursday – Extra dog walk, no snacks, no chocolate.
Friday – Exercise at dog agility plus short walk after, no snacks, no chocolate.
Saturday – Chose salad for lunch (although also had cheesy bread…), no snacks, no chocolate.
Sunday – No snacks, no chocolate.
This week’s goals:
- Watch portion sizes don’t start creeping up again.
- Listen to Confidence pod & Chocoholic pod more regularly.
- Lose 2lb (I’m terrified just writing that here in case I fail…)
