Life’s a beach and then you die…oh wait…that’s wrong!
I wish I was back at Maro beach in Spain, maybe not right now, it would probably be far too hot right now, but I do hope we get back there again, soon.
I’ve been twice, and it is stunning. Just a small beach, but in the tourist season there’s a pop up restaurant on the beach where they serve nommy food!
The dogs love it there, well, TiLi hasn’t been yet, but I’m sure she will! Rupert adores it, he charges about like a loon when it’s quiet there, the joy on his little face is wonderful to see.
And we love it too, Mum and I often go for a paddle in the sea, chase the waves, generally act like children! Step-dad enjoys a bit of relaxation and naval gazing while sat on a rock.
We’ve been there in rain and shine, as is demonstrated by the photos I’ve chosen, and it’s still a wonderful place to be, whatever the weather.
I spotted a peeping Tom there once, or was it a kinky partnership indulging their fantasies?
Maro beach is just one of those wonderful places, despite the mighty steep slope down to it, it seems to ease away your worries and troubles, just for a little while. The sound of the sea does that, for me at least, the feel of sand between my toes, the beautiful surroundings.
