Change

piercingsIt’s Word of the Week time and this week I’ve chosen “change” to represent my week.

On Monday my first change was not only a weight loss but a change from my 1lb losses the previous 2 weeks, hooray for me!

On Tuesday, ergotherapy day, I found myself in a worse state than usual and, as a result, my parents and I have decided to give ergotherapy sessions a break until September when my one to one classes will hopefully be starting too.

Wednesday saw a change of scenery for us all as we went for a walk along the river at Ambrières. We had lunch out too!

But the biggest change came on Thursday: Mum and I went into a local city for some retail therapy and, while we were there, I popped into a piercing salon and got my left cartilage pierced! I’ve been thinking about it for a while and pinning lots of piercing ideas, but I had the courage and the opportunity yesterday so I went and did it! I have to say, it was a much better experience than when I had my lobes done at a jewelers and, if I were to have more piercings, I’d certainly go back to the salon I went to on Thursday. They put me at ease, they were super hygienic, well trained and very knowledgeable too.

I am thrilled with my new piercing and can’t wait for it to heal fully (16 weeks to go…*drums fingers!*) so I can get some pretty cuffs and things to wear in it!

I’m a big wuss when it comes to pain and I’ve managed it! lol! They’re not really painful, even the cartilage one I had done wasn’t that bad 🙂
