You may remember my post on walking, it was making me miserable and giving me a headache. I’ve been struggling with it for some time, but a couple of weeks ago Mum and I took the dogs to a local forest for a walk and something miraculous happened; I enjoyed it.
I didn’t get a headache, despite it being fairly warm and me wearing a hat and jacket, and my mood didn’t plummet.
Because of the lack of headache or bad mood I was able to really enjoy the walk itself, watch the dogs enjoying themselves and snap some photos of the forest too, all while soaking up the good vibes of the forest. I’ve always wanted to do that; be able to truly appreciate the area I’m walking in, the beauty of nature.
It was quite busy, what with it being a weekend when we went, but I dealt with it well. What could have become a very stressful walk, was actually a peaceful stroll through a beautiful piece of nature.
I am thrilled and hope that this is the start of the ability to walk for miles and actually take pleasure from it. Definitely a moment of joy that I wanted to share!
