Snoozy Bear

The Gallery: Animal

Tara over at The Sticky Fingers Blog has set ‘animal’ as the prompt for this week’s The Gallery. Naturally I could only post photos of my babies, the pooches. We have 2 Bichon Frisés and they are both adorable.

First up is TiLi showing that she has no shame! She has very recently recovered from a serious virus & bacterial infection that had us very worried. Fortunately, after nearly 3 weeks, she bounced back and is now causing havoc around the house again!

no shame

And then we have Rupert Bear, chilling with his ‘Opa! Rupert, bless him, has pretty serious anxiety issues; he hates people, especially children, and will do everything to avoid them. He’s ever so loving, but easily terrified!

Snoozy Bear

I love having dogs, well, pets in general; getting to know their personalities, all their little quirks and foibles. So many non-pet owners don’t understand that each animal is an individual, just like each person is, and that they can bring so much joy. They become not only a pet, but a friend, a family member. The only thing I hate is that their life spans are so much shorter than ours.

Are you an animal lover?

TiLi is such a cutie. Glad to see she is feeling much better. They ate both very photogenic. Rupert bear has a lot in common with my cat. She is definitely not a prole cat never sit on you only talks when she needs out or food. I have often felt she is just lodging with us lol xx

  2. Coombe Mill

I love it when animals lay all stretched out displaying their all, they look so content with life.

Aww they’re lovely! I have just got my first puppy and so I’m still learning, he goes from super cute to a little nipping terror in the space of two seconds! Of course he’s just playing, and he’s still only a baby, but I can’t wait to see how his personality develops!

TiLi used to be a nipper but she is slowly growing out of it, I think finally the telling off has paid off!

  4. Molly

Who can blame him… I do my best to avoid children too 😉

Must have been such a relief when TiLi got better! My MIL has a bichon frise. I’m not really an animal lover, but am starting to understand their appeal a bit more as I get older!

Love the first pic loads. So funny because it’s hard to tell with all the curls and flailing limbs, which end’s which! #TheGallery
