autumn shadows

Long shadows, cast by bright light giving

Insidious monsters somewhere to hide, somewhere to

Grow. Allowing them to get their claws deep into your

Head. Not letting go, but

Twisting, turning, claiming your mind as their own.

I love this, there’s light but darkness with it. Such a great photo to illustrate it too.

There’s something very sinister about your poem (monster’s claws, claiming one’s mind…), yet there’s something so beautiful serene about the photo that comes with it. It’s quite perplexing in a very refreshing way. Thank you for sharing your creative words!

    Love that!

Definitely a poem of torment, glad you found the words .

I knew you would come up with something and this is perfect! Showing light in the darkness and vice versa. So well-written. Thank you for linking to Prose for Thought lovely, great to see you back x
