We’ve only recently discovered Vitré, well, recentlyish. It’s reasonably close to us and such a pretty, old place. It has a small Château, lots of old buildings and a fab eatery by the name of Mrs Teapot’s!
In one of the churches we found this beautiful looking organ.
And opposite is this old building.
This is my favourite building in Vitré though, a funky looking one that houses a shop, but has streets running either side of it!
On the way down to Mrs Teapot’s eatery you can see this really interesting building too.
And down another road is this elderly looking house.
The streets seem quite colourful, typically French to me.
And, though the Château at Vitré is only small it houses the Town Hall, and some exhibitions. You can wander the courtyard for free but you have to pay to get into the exhibits up in the tower.
Vitré is such a lovely place to visit, and on the way out we discovered a lovely looking park that we need to investigate next time we go!
